Color Models
A color model is a system used to describe a color. Everyone handling logos should have a basic understanding of the color models: CMYK, RGB, and Pantone (PMS). Each system yields slightly different results so it is important to know when to use which. In the most basic explanation—CMYK is for print, RGB is for digital, Pantone is for apparel and print when an exact color match is necessary and budget allows for it.
